Cookie policy
Last updated 1 October 2026
This page lists what the site stores on your device. Cookies are small files kept by your browser. Browser storage (local storage) does the same job and is kept on your device only. The site has no analytics script and sets no analytics cookies.
Essential, no consent needed
These are needed for the site to work or stay secure, so they cannot be switched off.
| Name | What it is for | How long | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm (cookie) | Helps Cloudflare, which serves the site, tell people from automated bots and keep the site secure. | About 30 minutes | Cloudflare |
| cookieConsent (browser storage) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected advertising cookies, so we do not ask on every page. | Until you clear your browser data | CalculatorZone |
| admin-token (cookie) | Keeps the site owner signed in to the private admin area. It is never set for visitors. | 12 hours | CalculatorZone |
Stored because you asked for a feature
These are kept in your browser only, are never sent to us, and are used only to give you the feature. You can delete them through your browser settings.
| Name | What it is for | How long | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|
| theme (browser storage) | Remembers light or dark mode after you use the theme switch. | Until you clear your browser data | CalculatorZone |
| calculatorzone:saved-scenarios (browser storage) | Holds the scenarios you choose to save on this device, up to 12. The figures never leave your browser. | Until you remove them or clear your browser data | CalculatorZone |
| calculatorzone:recent-calculators (browser storage) | Remembers the last four calculators you used so the homepage can show them to you. | Until you clear the list or your browser data | CalculatorZone |
Advertising, only if you consent
The site may show advertising from Google AdSense and may load an Amazon script that points Amazon links to the right country. Neither loads unless you choose Accept all or turn on advertising in Cookie settings, and they are currently switched off. If they are switched on and you accept, Google and Amazon may set their own cookies. They choose the names and lifetimes, so we do not list them here; see how Google uses cookies.
Change your choice
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time.
If you turn advertising off, we stop loading it on the next page you open. Cookies that a provider has already set can be removed through your browser settings.
