We set a small number of cookies — some essential (CDN security, admin sessions), and two optional categories (analytics, advertising) that only activate after you accept. If you don't accept, only the essential cookies run.

1. What cookies we set

The list below is exhaustive for the main CalculatorZone domain. Third-party widgets (if any) may set their own cookies — follow the links in section 3 to manage those.

Essential

Strictly necessary for the site to work (CDN security, administrator sessions). Cannot be switched off.

Analytics

Optional. We use Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode v2 — analytics cookies are never set until you click "Accept" on our cookie banner.

Advertising

Optional. Google AdSense cookies are never set until you click "Accept advertising" on our cookie banner.

2. What we don't do

We do not set any tracking or advertising cookies before you accept our cookie banner (Google Analytics / AdSense operate under Consent Mode v2 — denied by default).
We do not store calculator inputs, results, or personal financial data in cookies. All calculations run entirely in your browser.
We do not share cookie data with data brokers.

3. Managing cookies

You can change your cookie choices at any time from our banner, or by clearing cookieConsent in your browser storage (it lives in localStorage, not a cookie). You can also manage cookies at the browser level:

You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. You have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
