Who we are and what these terms cover

CalculatorZone is an independently run website. It is not a bank, lender, adviser or regulated firm.

These terms apply when you use calculatorzone.co.uk, its calculators, guides, embeds and API. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You can contact us at [email protected].

What the site is

CalculatorZone offers free calculators that give estimates for planning. Each result depends on the figures you type in and on published rates and rules, which can change. The calculators are not a quote, an offer, a payroll run or a filed return.

Not advice

Nothing on the site is financial, tax, legal or medical advice, and nothing is a personal recommendation. Before you act on a result, check it against the official source or ask a qualified adviser. For anything about your health, speak to a doctor or other qualified health professional.

Using the site

You may use the site for your own personal or business planning. Please do not:

• break the law or help anyone else to;
• try to disrupt the site, get around its security or overload it with automated requests;
• present a result from the site as an official figure or as advice from a regulated firm.

Embeds and the API

You can use the free embeds and the free API as described on their pages, as long as the visible attribution stays in place. We do not promise that they will always be available or error free, and we may change or withdraw them at any time. Please do not misrepresent the results they return.

Advertising and affiliate links

Some links on the site are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you buy or sign up through them. They are marked as such. A commission never changes a calculator result. Advertising may also be shown; if it is, it is provided by a third party and we are not responsible for what the advertiser says. Our content

The text, design and code of the site belong to the person or business that runs it, except where a source says otherwise. You may link to any page and quote short extracts with a link back. Please ask us before copying more than that.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude. Your rights as a consumer under the law are not affected.

Beyond that, the site is free and gives estimates. We take care over the figures, but we cannot promise that a result is right for your situation. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when you used the site, or for losses that come from relying on an estimate without checking it against the official source or with a qualified adviser. We are also not responsible for other websites that we link to.

Changes to the site and these terms

We may change or remove calculators and content as rates and rules change. We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and we will say so here if the change is significant. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. You can stop using the site at any time.

Governing law and where disputes are heard

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in the courts where you live. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
